This video has been very popular on Facebook the past few days. People have been sharing it to show that not all the news shown on television is bad.

What most people don’t realize is that this story is from 2006. Of course, does that really matter, if the content improves your mood?

Jason McElwain, a high-functioning autistic, was permitted to play in his basketball team’s last game on February 15, 2006.  Because of his success in that game, he has become a celebrity and a model for people suffering from autism.  He even got to meet President Bush, who told him, “Our country was captivated by your amazing story on the basketball court.”
