This website, YesindeedyBob.com (a.k.a. Bob's Blog of Wisdom), is based on a notebook that I've been keeping for several years. In this notebook, I write quotations. Not just any quotations, but those that have a special meaning for me. Some quotes make me stop and think, others inspire me to become a better person, while still others just make me feel good.

The reason I started recording quotes in my "Book of Wisdom" was to learn what I could from the people who said them. Famous sayings and familiar quotations last throughout the years because they have meaning. They are truthful. They teach us about life.

I wanted to share this wisdom with the world, so I created this website. It is my hope that something here can be of help to someone out there.

Each entry in this blog will begin with a quote from my notebook, "My Book of Wisdom". I'll then offer my personal insight and thoughts about the quote and tell why it has meaning to me.

I hope this blog will be useful. If you don't like what I have to say, you can at least think about what each quotation means to you. Leave a comment and share your thoughts about a particular quote. Let's share our wisdom.
